Reginal W. Spiller is the President and CEO of Azimuth Energy LLC, an international oil and gas company with operations across the United States, Africa, and South America, and also serves as CEO of its geospatial subsidiary, Azimuth GIS–ME. He has over 35 years of combined industry and government experience spanning more than 80 countries. Mr. Spiller previously served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Gas and Petroleum Technologies at the U.S. Department of Energy, becoming the highest-ranking geologist in the U.S. Government and the first petroleum geologist to hold the role. His career includes executive leadership as COO of Allied Energy, overseeing deepwater production and development in Nigeria. He currently serves on the boards of Range Resources Corporation and the African Energy Chamber, and acts as Chief Scientist for SAMEC Mining Company in Guinea. Mr. Spiller has also held advisory and academic board roles with leading institutions, including the National Academy of Sciences and multiple U.S. universities.
