Dr. Olumuyiwa (Muyiwa) Olawoki is a seasoned geoscientist with over 40 years of technical and leadership experience across the oil and gas industry and geoscience consultancy. He holds a PhD in Applied Geology from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. His career spans extensive work with Agip, Shell, and ExxonMobil, including onshore, offshore, and deepwater projects, as well as a development assignment in ExxonMobil’s Houston offices. Dr. Olawoki has led and contributed to over 35 geoscience projects across West and East Africa, including discovery-to-production initiatives currently delivering commercial output. He is highly proficient in seismic interpretation, regional geology, exploration and production evaluation, and integrated subsurface studies. He is a Fellow of NAPE and a member of COMEG, NMGS, and AAPG.
